Doggy Daycare

Who can come play?

• All healthy & friendly dogs who are not territorial over toys, food or space.

• All dogs at least 16 weeks olds and 10 pounds or over. 

• All dogs 6 months or older that are spayed/neutered.

• On your first visit, please bring your dog’s current vet records showing bordatella, canine influenza, distemper and rabies vaccines. We also require flea treatment records to be submitted. To keep all dogs healthy, we do not allow dogs to play or have a temperament test until we have these records!

• Prior to your dog’s first day of daycare, we require a temperament assessment. This ensures the safety of all our charges and allows us to determine if your dog will thrive in our pack.

  Our handlers take each dog through a series of activities, situations, commands, and interactions to determine if our facility is a good fit and what, if any, skills need polishing. During the test, we determine how well your dog knows commands, how well they understand cues from other dogs, how they interact with 10-15 dogs, and their overall attitude  towards the daycare environment. Some dogs love the energy, excitement, and stimulation that daycare provides, while other dogs can be overwhelmed, anxious or fearful. 

  We offer two types of temperament assessments, based on your needs: 

  1. Standard Temperament Test:  $35, test runs up to 4 hours, Mon-Fri, start time 8am. 

  This test is for dog parents looking for a few hours of socialization a few times a week and not necessarily looking for full days each visit.  Most of our clients fit into this category and we encourage the majority of new dogs to start with shorter days – a mixture of early and later drop offs to experience the ebb and flow of dog energy – and gradually build up their tolerance to full day visits.

  2. Extended Temperament Test:   $45, test runs up to 7 hours, Mon-Fri, start time 8am.

  This test is for dog parents wanting to start their dog on full days right away. The extended temperament test includes all aspects of our standard test with three more hours of observation by our handlers to observe your dog’s behavior after they have tired from four hours of playtime, how your dog reacts when other dogs come and go, and to observe if your dog is able to settle down for nap time. Participation in the extended temperament test DOES NOT guarantee that your dog will be able to schedule for full day daycare once they have completed the test.  

• If a dog has not attended daycare in 4 months, another temperament assessment may be required.
